We had a really nice and productive talk! A little bit different in terms of the topics I thought we would cover given it was the first class, but the ability to open up I believe stands to show how comfortable of an environment I was in. Felt encouraged the whole time and I look forward to future lessons~

Jihun is such a pleasure to work with! He’s an excellent conversationalist who not only prompts you to speak, but also gives his own thoughtful opinions. I feel very comfortable and supported by him even when I’m searching for the right words to say. Throughout the conversation, he sends me any unfamiliar words so that I can use them more confidently in class. He explains grammar concepts well and takes interest in the student. I bring him interesting Korean sentences from videogames and social media that I come across. I send him paragraphs from a book that I’m writing—he gives such helpful corrections and explanations. If you’re looking for a Korean teacher, Jihun is an excellent choice! You won’t regret it 😊
