Donggyu Kim

Donggyu is an excellent teacher, and assesses and alters his lessons accordingly. He's personable and kind, and I feel like I'm learning so much more than I did with other teachers. I'd recommend Donggyu to anyone wanting to learn Korean, whatever your proficiency level.

Donggyu Kim is a very patient and kind teacher. He explains well and is easy to talk to. His english is very good and understandable. It is always fun to have class with him and the time just flies by. I look forward to learn and practice Korean with him more. 🙂

Although I did not clarify my Korean level too clearly before the lesson, he quickly adapted by giving me new grammar exercises to try out and new vocabulary to learn! I appreciate that he delivered such a great lesson even though he had a cold :( Thanks again 😊

Donggyu is the answer to my prayers. 🤩 I don't need to look further for the perfect Korean teacher. His teaching style is exactly what I am looking for. He is so supportive and encouraging and he immediately made me feel at ease. I love that he corrected my mistakes. There was a wonderful balance of reading and speaking (especially since I'm a beginner). I look forward to many more lessons. 감사합니다!!

I really enjoy my lessons with this teacher. He is always well prepared, patient, and focuses on what I need to work on. He provides excellent resources and notes to study between lessons. Lessons have been very fun and engaging with a blend of learning new grammar, vocab, etc… while getting ample time to practice my speaking, reading, pronunciation, etc… I definitely recommend this teacher.

Another great lesson with this teacher. He was again well prepared with resources. He explains things well and listens to feedback to focus on the things that you really want to work on. I would highly recommend this teacher!
