I greatly appreciate my Japanese learning experience with Kai. He speaks English fluently and personalizes the lessons to meet my needs, giving me the material in advance. Moreover, he is very kind and is open to adapt the teaching method following my feedbacks. Over the course of the weeks, I have seen concrete progresses in my Japanese language skills.

Kai is a very skilled and patient teacher. He understood my needs and adapted the lesson materials to cater to them. He is very knowledgeable and has given me a lot of new bits of information about how real Japanese is used, in contrast to 'textbook' Japanese. When we practice conversational Japanese, he speaks in a natural way, which is useful for getting me used to the normal speed of Japanese speech, even though it means that it's too quick for me to understand sometimes. I look forward to more lessons, and improving my speaking and listening skills!

Kai is very friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging! I feel truly motivated to further improve my Japanese conversation skills. This is my first time learning with a Japanese teacher and using a Zoom-like platform for lessons, so the experience was entirely new to me. Despite that, Kai made it incredibly easy to build rapport, creating a comfortable and supportive environment. What impressed me most was his ability to share interesting tidbits of Japanese culture and language that you’d never find in a textbook—things that only native speakers would know. It was fascinating and made the lesson feel even more valuable.
