Hi there. My name is Christin and I can't wait to meet you. I was born and raised in Miami, FL and absolutely love the beach. I grew up in a Latin household so speaking two languages has always been the norm. I started my career as a newspaper journalist and that fostered my natural curiosity of people, languages and culture. I now live in Italy and work as an English teacher for a private language school. I love this new career because I've learned so much about my own language, and I get to share that with others.
When I'm not teaching, I'm a passionate traveler and blogger, who you can often find in the kitchen baking or cooking up new recipes.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
As a student of languages myself, (I've learned Italian and French in the last 9 years) I try to model the best traits of my former language professors and bring that into the classroom. I have a natural curiosity of people and I use that to learn about my students and what motivates them so I can cater the learning material to what's relevant, useful and necessary for them, so in that way every lesson is engaging. In my experience as a digital journalist, I spent a lot of time working with digital tools to enhance storytelling and I continue that practice as an English teacher. I love developing and researching different games and digital techniques to give students multiple ways of acquiring and studying language.
I also really enjoy teaching topics like phrasal verbs, idioms and adjectives because, in my opinion, it's what gives language its color and what allows us to have a closer understanding of the language and the culture of those who speak it.
I put a focus on such competencies as speaking, listening and writing. I do my best to only teach grammar passively.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

Advanced Certificate in TEFL - TEFL FULL CIRCLE - 2020I was required to study and review multiple aspects of teaching English as a foreign language. The course was a total of 120 hours and culminated in a long form test, writing assignment and submission of a sample lesson plan. I passed this course with a level of "EXCELLENT" for creating a "well-designed, fun and interactive lesson for learners."

I've been learning English with Christin since last September. Christin is a very organized and responsible person. Her schedule is always up to date. If at the lesson we finish a topic before the end of the class, Christin is always prepared and knows how to use remained time with benefit for my studies. Right now she is on vacation, and I'm going to miss her lessons!
