My name is Mina and I've been a language teacher for 13 years. I'm new to iTalki.
I majored in English Language and Literature and I hold a TEFL certificate.
I have taught Serbian and English to students from all around the globe. I've lived and worked as a teacher in Poland, and then in China. I love exploring different cultures and languages!
In addition to working as a teacher, I've also worked as a Translator (Serbian to English and vice versa) and Project Manager's Assistant in an engineering company, so I do have experience in business communication, business facilitation and project management.

My courses are highly structured, and there is a specific and clear objective for every single class and every single week.
I always assign homework, as well as self-study assignments to be done prior to the live session. After each cycle of lessons (on average-it's once in 2 weeks), there is a revision conversation session in which I assess the student's progress and propose a plan for further work.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I mostly employ the Communicative Language Teaching Method (CLT) and the Flipped Classroom Model. Firstly, I provide my student with the new language in context. Secondly, I guide him/her to deduce the rules and language patterns from the context, if/when needed. Finally, the student gets to practice the language through communicative activities.
