I had not had a chance to study or speak Portuguese for about a year. Andre was super encouraging, and pushed me to speak. His manner helped dispel my anxiety about jumping back in. It was a great lesson.

I have been learning Portuguese with Andre since last summer, and it's always been great conversation, very helpful. I can read Portuguese with no problem, so I needed help just listening to natural spoken language, and he does that. We just talk about our lives and activities since I moved to Lisbon last August, and he's very helpful. he writes down vocabulary and expressions I need, corrects my mistakes, and if i say something in Spanish or English, he'll tell me how to say it in Portuguese. He's got good energy and enthusiasm, can talk about all kinds of topics, and speaks excellent English when necessary. Highly recommended!

André is a fantastic tutor, very positive and fun to talk to! Always on time and comes with topics prepared for each lesson. Knows when's best to give corrections so they're helpful but not overwhelming. He's got a lot of knowlegde to share and passion for teaching
