Hello everyone! I'm Joe and I'm from Birmingham, in the centre of England.
I love to talk to new people and find out all about your lives, countries and cultures.
My interests are wide and varied, but especially...

My choices in education reflect my wide interests- finished school with Psychology and Politics, then went to do an Art and Design course while studying Japanese and then degree in International Business with Russian language...

I really love to teach people- it's so rewarding seeing and hearing people increase in confidence and ability in English.
I'm TEFL and IELTS qualified and have professional experience teaching teenagers and adults. I've worked for a couple of years in Eastern and Central Europe, mainly in Poland and Ukraine.
I can also help you with Interview Skills to get that great new job!
I am quite quiet and patient and will help you become just understandable or perfect with your English- whatever your aim is.

When learning languages I have always found the speaking part to be the most difficult (and stressful) so I prefer to focus on this skill in lessons to build confidence in the quickest way.
We can talk about anything and everything so that you find it interesting and engaging.
Of course, it's also down to you as everyone is different- we can discuss grammar, pronunciation, exercises and I can give you some listening practice.
If you would like homework, we can work through a textbook, use targeted worksheets or prepare a speech.
