Hok Sreymom

Another excellent lesson with teacher Sreymom. She prepares great lessons and checks comprehension really. I feel like I've made a lot of progress in such a short time

Hok Sreymom was excellent. Takes the time to learn what my goals are, current level and tailors the lesson accordingly. Very nice, patient and a joy to work with.

This lesson was so fun! I told Sreymom that my Cambodian friend was starting to teach me the alphabet and she pivoted to practice with me! Now that she knows I am taking the extra effort to practice more Khmer than just my homework, she is going to include 10 minutes in each lesson to review the alphabet and how to read Khmer with me! I am so thoroughly excited. She is such a cool teacher and seems so excited to indulge my questions, yet manages to keep our lessons on track. I cannot recommend her enough! Give her a try!

First Khmer lesson. Fun and exciting! We looked at greetings and Sreimom had us do roleplaying to use the language.

As usual, Sreymom is fantastic. I love her energy and her willingness to indulge questions. The extra repetition and intonation examples she gives is helping me to gradually develop an ear for the tone of how Khmer is spoken. Even without being a "tonal language", all language has a particular cadence and tonal patterns. Her feedback on my pronunciation and intonation is much appreciated. I cannot recommend her enough.
