Annarita is the best teacher ever! She is diligent, encouraging and responsive, with high standards and a joyful passion for Italian culture that makes every lesson a pleasure. After starting my lessons as a total beginner with her, I’m now ready to take the CILS B1 Cittadinanza exam. I can also speak with my Italian friends, enjoy Italian cinema and literature, and follow Italian current affairs, and I’m motivated to continue learning far beyond the exam. On our journey together, through her amazing teaching, Annarita has given me a thorough grounding in the language, but she has also given me so much more: the gift of being able to experience Italian culture to the full. I have been taking lessons with Professor Saggion for two years now. This has been the best language learning experience that I’ve had. When I started, I had taken a semester of Italian at my old university, but I was very rusty and only able to say about three different things. Now, I’m able to speak Italian and express myself in the language in a way that has never happened for me before. I’m a PhD student studying opera so it’s very important to me to cover music as well, and she found books that would incorporate opera into our lessons. I really recommend this teacher if you want to reach your language learning goals in a professional and motivational environment!
