Hi, I'm Paul and I'm a qualified English teacher from England, now based in the UK. I love teaching English to adults, which is why I have been doing it full-time for 30 years. In fact, I am also an avid language learner myself, which explains why I am currently learning German. Around 10 years ago, I switched to one-to-one English tutoring and coaching. In this setting, I can identify more clearly individual needs and modify the course accordingly. In a typical conversation course, for instance, as we have an enjoyable chat based on topics I think you will find interesting, I will monitor your English and make a note of alternative words, collocations and expressions you could have used, issues you have with pronunciation and intonation, as well as any unnatural phrasing or grammar mistakes.
