I live in Uppsala (Sweden), but I'm originally from a small town called Emmen, the Netherlands. I have also lived and studied in Groningen. I am a native Dutch speaker, but I also speak English and Swedish fluently. I know the difficulty of acquiring new language skills, and would love to help you with the Dutch or English! ★ Bachelor Degree: European Languages and Cultures (Groningen, NL) ★ Currently - Master Degree: Library and Information Sciences (Uppsala, Sweden)

A few years ago, I helped Dutch high school students pass their English final exams. I’m passionate about language and helping people acquiring the desired language skills. Since I have experience with language learning myself, I know that it’s hard, but it’s never impossible. I can help you prepare for an exam, or even help you with homework. Or, if you are going on holidays to the Netherlands, Belgium or an English-speaking country, I could help you learn some of the basics of the language, or even some helpful sentences or words. A lot of things are possible!

I have most experience teaching adults, which is why I will not teach people under the age of 13 at this point. ★ Before class: ★ - New students will ideally let me know their level and their expectations during the lesson. They are also welcome to let me know their goals for learning Dutch/English. - In case of conversation lessons, I will provide you with a news article or video we can discuss during our lesson :) ★ During class: ★ - The lesson will be customized to your needs and speed. If you need more help and support, I will be able to provide you with extra teaching materials. - I will be here to support you and make the lessons fun and interactive!
