Julien is fabulous! You won’t regret if you select him as your French teacher! He is seasoned and detail-oriented! You will be surprised by your improvement and confidence in using French!

This was my second French class on italki, and I feel so lucky to have found such a great teacher on just my second try!^^Julien is passionate, highly experienced (and impressively fast at typing!) I love his teaching style; it suits me perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for. I can’t wait for my next lesson with him! Merci beaucoup et à très bientôt!

Julien was very patient, friendly, and clear with his instruction. I have many opportunities to try and even when I make mistakes, I am encouraged to continue. Afterwards, I am shown corrections through the shared word document that Julien writes during the lesson and sends to me afterwards. His style emphasizes students' speaking ability while guiding students with a good foundation of basic grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. One thing that I found most helpful in his lessons is his break down for pronunciation in the documents that he creates for the lessons. He also has a very neat and color coded system for vocabulary, verb conjugations, and other nuances of French language all in one document.

It was my trial session with Julien and I'm really impressed. He was very energetic but also very calm at the same time. He pointed out my mistakes and also suggested alternative vocab and phrases. I am now going to book some more lessons with him.

It was great to see Julien again. His class is always efficient and incredibly useful to me. Plus, he types really fast and always takes excellent notes for me.
