My name is Valia and I come from Greece. I am a certified language teacher and translator. I have been teaching Greek, English, Spanish, Italian and French for 5 years. My passion is learning foreign languages or practicing the ones I already know.

I have experience in teaching both children and adults. I feel great satisfaction when my students are actually learning and progressing in the target language. I help students who want to start a language from scratch or those who already know a language and want to develop their language skills by combining a variety of methods. I teach students who want to learn a language for professional or personal reasons. I use flashcards while teaching kids in order to help them acquire the vocabulary needed in the target language. I provide authentic texts to all of my students and combine them with videos and audio files recorded by native speakers. Valia is an excellent teacher. She is always organized and responsive to areas where I need more help. Would highly recommend for anybody who wants to learn Italian but also knows a little Spanish (or vice versa) because she is very adept at explaining the subtle grammatical differences between the two languages.
