I'm here to help you gain experience with having real conversations with a native speaker. I teach people of all ages (16+) and backgrounds. I have structured material for different levels (they are Google Docs or pdf files, it's up to you). I'm happy to discuss any topics and share my knowledge of different cultures and traditions. I'm a big fan of study skills and will encourage you to develop these so that you can become more independent as a language learner. As part of this, I help you to set an achievable goal and create a study plan that will move you towards it step by step. My overall belief about language learning is that it should be a rewarding process. From my years of experience I developed an easy-going lesson style. I like to establish a friendly relationship with my students -- you should feel comfortable enough with me to speak freely, make mistakes and express your opinions. Lyudmila is simply an excellent teacher. She has a wonderful combination of knowledge, methodology, pleasant personality and dedication. Studying Russian with her is a real joy and allows one to make progress in the most efficient and agreable way.
