Meltem

Meltem is an excellent teacher. Our lessons are almost entirely in Turkish. She explains things clearly and creates a supportive, stress-free environment, which makes learning a pleasure. She also picks very interesting readings to discuss, so we have many enjoyable conversations about a wide range of topics. I look forward to every class. I highly recommend her!

Meltem is a very generous and knowledgeable teacher, and I've enjoyed working with her during the past five or six months. She has suggested excellent materials and does a good job shifting from conversation to explanation of grammar as needed, and also has a calm intelligence and sense of humor that makes learning fun. I have just finished my second package with Meltem. I like everything about the lessons, including how Meltem corrects all my mistakes and writes my corrections and the new vocabulary. I also like how the lessons are completely in Turkish (except when I ask for translation of new words). Çok teşekkür ederim Meltem :)

I just had my first speaking class with Meltem and it was great. She's someone you can instantly feel comfortable with - conversation comes easy and you never feel embarrassed when making mistakes. I highly recommend!
