Hyun ku is a great teacher. During conversations, be asks questions to keep you talking, and thoughtfully responds with his own opinions, which not only trains your speaking skills, but your comprehension as well. With grammar, he explains the usage with helpful examples, many that even involve your interests. He often mentions info you gave him in the past, which really shows that he listens and cares enough to get to know his students. He’s an absolute pleasure.

Classes with Hyunku are always fun but also very well structured. He is a demanding teacher with a lot of warmth and always supports their students. He is very flexible and always adjust the speed of learning and levels to your current life situation.

Hyun Ku is an excellent teacher. I recommend him to students of any level. After each class you will feel you have learned a lot while having a good time!

I had a great first lesson with 현구 - we discussed my learning style and he was able to identify what would work best for me based on what he knows I am already doing outside of the lesson with him. 현구 선생님 provides great sample phrases in which to use different vocab and that's super helpful for me since a lot of vocab in Korean is very context-based and thus easy to confuse if you only know the translation. I look forward to our next lesson already and can see the light at the end of the 'Intermediate-Level-No-Motivation' Phase :D. Thank you 선생님!
