Martina is an outstanding teacher. She is the fifth or sixth Italki tutor I have worked with and she is the only one who really delivers on what she promises in the intro video. She is always prepared and focused. She shares helpful resources I wouldn’t have found on my own.

I started learning Italian with Martina, from scratch, almost two years ago. I have had an excellent experience and I am now studying at B2 level. She was patient and encouraging throughout the lesson, and she provided clear explanations and examples to help me to understand the grammar concepts I am working on. I had plenty of opportunities to practice my conversation skills and receive feedback on my pronunciation and grammar. One of the things that stands out about Martina is her ability to tailor the lesson to my specific needs and interests. She takes the time to understand my goals and incorporate relevant vocabulary and scenarios into the activities. Overall, I would highly recommend Martina as an Italian teacher. Her expertise, professionalism, and ability to personalize the lesson to your needs make her an excellent choice.

I am really enjoying my lessons. When I began with Martina, I spoke no Italian. On a recent trip to Italy was able to speak and understand Italian in many different settings. I can now also read and understand explanations in museums.

Martina is a phenomenal Italian teacher. For each lesson she provides customized materials, focusing on vocabulary, reading, grammar, and watching videos in Italian. A good part of the lessons includes conversation practice during which she skillfully guides me on using the technical aspects for which I need improvement. Martina is a great listener and conversationalist and is completely focused on making me a better Italian speaker. I really look forward to my learning sessions with her.
