My name is Dom and I'm very excited to be here on iTalki to help you on your English journey. I am a Londoner born and raised, but I left London in 2016 to travel and teach English. Before I left the UK I worked as a civil engineer and have recently been working in wind energy in Taiwan.
I currently live in Taiwan and am very grateful to have a career that allows me to work online, meaning that I can pursue my passion for travelling. I'm also super into photography and working out. 我会说中文.

I have been teaching for over seven years now with lots of varied experience. In terms of one-to-one classes, I have taught 5000+ hours of classes to kids and adults of all ages.
I have worked offline in training centres, schools, as an English teacher for the Thai government and also as a private tutor. I now mostly teach online.

Grammar/phrasal verbs

Writing

I am extremely patient. I think one of the most important factors of one-to-one teaching is that the student feels at ease in class. The atmosphere in my classes is relaxed and we go at a pace that suits the student. I understand that every student has individual needs and therefore none of my classes are the same, they are all tailored around the students.
The format of lessons varies greatly depending on which kind of lesson you are interested in so again, if you have any questions please send me a message. However, in all of our classes, I will correct your mistakes with grammar and pronunciation as well as make suggestions for vocabulary and more native expressions.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

I just wanna say thank you to Dom here because after consecutive days practicing on IELTS speaking,I finally got my scores today.And I got band 7 on my speaking. It’s all thanks to Dom,he’s such a professional teacher who can teach you all the tips and grammar you need before the test.The only thing you need is “the time”,once you got more time to prepare and practice,sooner or later you will get above 7 too.
