Every Slovak lesson with Martina is both very informative and fun! I'm a heritage speaker of Slovak (that has not spoken in many years) so it's hard to find Slovak content that helps me through my problem areas without having to go through a lot of basics and Martina's lessons have been perfect for that! She has been really flexible with the pacing and content of my lessons to tailor them to exactly my needs! I've also just enjoyed chatting with her in Slovak, we have fun conversations and she always makes me feel very comfortable :) Ďakujem, Martina!!!

Martina is a great educator with a brilliant ability to adjust het teaching style to the individual needs of every student. Free to go through and talk about a broad range of topics, she makes the process of learning smooth and enjoyable. I really like Martina's cheerful and patient teaching style. She teaches the difficult grammar professionally and responds flexibly to the student's needs. You get lots of tips on various apps, podcasts, websites, etc. Conversations about interesting topics are particularly valuable to me. This is how I learn a lot about the country and its people. I have been having Slovak lessons with Martina for 18 months now and am extremely happy with her approach to teaching. What I particularly appreciate is that she spoke to me in Slovak from the very beginning. As a result, I can now understand almost everything she says to me, even if I still struggle a little out in the real world. Slovak is the seventh language that I have attempted to learn and so I have seen quite a few language teachers in my time. I can honestly say that Martina is among the very best. Her classes are always well-prepared, we cover fun and interesting topics and she always encourages me to say everything in Slovak rather than divert into English. We also laugh a lot and I always look forward to her classes. I can warmly recommend Martina to anyone wanting to learn Slovak!
