Hellol everyone! This is Mahdi Birjandi, a Farsi (Persian) teacher on Italki. In the past the years, working as an interpreter & teacher of both Farsi & English connected me to people all around the globe. This is why I know the mutual gaps between Farsi & English. I am into languages and it has become a part of my soul. currently I'm learning Turkish & Arabic and some day I will learn Chinese or Russian as one of my favorite languages. I think learning a language is a fun experience that that provides a lot of opportunities.

Mahdi is a fantastic teacher. He's professional and prepared, takes my preferences into consideration when developing the lessons and provides follow up materials. During the lesson time, he's very patient - I'm a nervous speaker, and I never feel like I'm being rushed. He gives me space to ask questions and makes sure I'm understanding the answers. Highly recommend!

It is always a pleasure learning Persian with Mahdi. His energy and enthusiasm are hugely motivating, as is the rapid progress his teaching methods brings about. This is largely due to the huge effort he puts into preparing classes - from answering questions I come up with while studying between classes, to crafting homework and lessons tailored to my needs and about topics I am interested in. literally the most generous teacher you can have- tailors lessons for your learning style and experience. also helps as much as he can to find and facilitate outside resources to learn farsi. i am so so appreciative :))
