Hyungsu Kim

Hyungsu is stellar! He provides very focused, organized lessons and supports them with clear explanations and supportive encouragement. He is patient and gently corrects mistakes, so you can focus on the language. He is always happy to answer questions, and he tailors the lesson to your needs as well. I'm having a wonderful time learning with him and look forward to his class each week! Thanks Hyungsu for making learning Korean so fun and rewarding!

I have been having weekly tutorials with Hyungsu for an entire year, and I simply cannot recommend him highly enough!!! After starting with only the knowledge of hangeul and basic greetings, I have progressed so much and am loving my Korean Language Journey! Hyungsu teaches in a really well structured way which gives you a great foundation for the language, adapting all lessons to fit your needs, but also switches it up to keep things fun and interesting with speaking lessons (after a whole year I still look forward to my classes every weekend) - not only is he a fantastic teacher, but also a great friend :) 형수야 정말 고마워!!

Hyungsu is a great teacher. I have been taking classes for over two months now and only knew Hangeul and a handful of words in the beginning. Obviously, I still have a long way to go, but I'm amazed by all the things I learned in such a short amount of time. I like the mixture of grammar concepts, reading/speaking exercises and additional cultural background information. The class environment feels really encouraging and friendly too, so don't worry about making mistakes or asking questions. :)
