Hi! I´m Jahdai! I´m a 29 year-old Spanish teacher, linguist, and a proud dad. Born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico. I´ve also lived in texas, giving me native like fluency in English.
I specialize in helping learners like you feel confident speeking Spanish. I also speak French and German at an intermediate level, understand Portuguese, and am currently learning Japanese- So I know what it´s like to be in your shoes as a language learner!
I´ve traveled extensively across Mexico and love discussing a wide range of topics, from culture and history to food and travel, I enjoy broadening my perspectives 😁ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I use various methods to engage and motivate my students, such as stories, role play, grammar, reading activities, articles, comprehensible input, and cross-talk. I am patient, understanding, and committed to helping each student succeed, every lesson is different according to your requests.
I also have taken over 880 classes 😃 on italki as a student, so I know the ins and outs of italki and will gladly share all my experience.

My lessons are conversational, practical and focused on real-world usage. I help students develop their listening,speaking, reading and writting skills, all while building confidence.
If you feel lost and don't know what to talk about, don´t worry I am very talktative so our conversations wont ever go dry. I can also point out your mistakes right away or at the end of the lesson, whichever you prefer. I will always give you some materials to work with on your own.

English tutorI helped some of my fellow students with their English classes, offering tutoring and coaching for people taking the TOEFL exam. I also prepared some of my classmates for their mid term and final exams.
2021 - 2024
Community TutorI have been teaching/coaching students learning Spanish and Enlgish on Italki. This job has become my passion and I enjoy doing it every day. I employ different methodologies and strategies depending on the individual.
At the moment I am working on an online phonetics course so I can better help students with pronunciation.

I've been taking lessons with Jahdai for about a year, and he's always very patient and at the same time pushes me to go outside my comfort zone so I can learn better. He's very good at introducing new vocabulary and grammatical concepts and then explaining them in a way that makes them easy to understand.

Hello Spanish learners! You can stop searching for your tutor right here. Jahdai is a fantastic teacher! I've taken many classes with him so far and my level of understanding and ability to converse have skyrocketed since i started studying with him. He's a language learning enthusiast so he really connects with students and understands their process of learning. He has near-native English so there's no lack of clear explanations that I need when I struggle with a difficult concept or gramatical construct. He's very patient and makes his classes enjoyable.
