Leeji 리지(Ji Eun Lee)

Leeji is a kind and experienced Korean teacher. She uses real-world examples to teach grammar, vocabulary, and cultural concepts. She is also flexible in tailoring lessons to my specific personal language learning goals. As a second-generation Korean-American, my Korean language skills have been elementary and flawed. Leeji understands the difficulties that heritage speakers such as myself face, and has helped me address those issues. During my nearly one year of working with Leeji, I have noticed a significant improvement in my Korean speaking, reading, and writing skills. In addition, her warm and empathetic teaching style has helped me overcome my own Korean-language insecurities. I am now much more comfortable speaking Korean with native speakers and am able to communicate at a much higher level than before. I would highly recommend Leeji to anyone interested in learning and improving their Korean.
