I have been teaching Japanese since 2017 as a volunteer at an international association.

My students were enthusiastic about learning Japanese and I was inspired by them.

I started studying and passed the exam in 2020 and became a qualified Japanese teacher.

I had another good lesson with Tama Sensei this morning learning grammar and reviewing numbers etc. I struggled a bit but Tama Sensei is always so patient and reassuring. I will make sure to study even more for our next lesson! :)

Tama-san has been super helpful ramping back up on Japanese. Her lessons move at a good pace and are highly interactive, providing lots of opportunity for practicing pronunciation and reinforcing new grammar/vocab. I really enjoy learning with her!

I have never worked with a tutor before, so I was nervous about looking foolish. Tama-sensei is attentive to my specific learning plan, diligent about correcting mistakes, and provides a lot of support with the language, but she never made me feel foolish. I had a lot of fun and the time spent was incredibly useful! I am looking forward to having more lessons together. ありがとうございます。

I really enjoy my Japanese lessons with Tama Sensei! It is such a fun learning experience. Tama Sensei gives such good feedback and is really great at helping with pronunciation and the meaning behind the words/phrases we learn. I look forward to attending more classes!
