Hello! My name is Caleb. I am an English language teacher currently living in Texas in the United States. I spent nearly the past decade of my life teaching English professionally in Seoul, South Korea. I studied Linguistics as a university student, with my focuses mainly being on Second Language Acquisition, and Sociolinguistics. I have experience learning various foreign languages, mainly Korean and Japanese. Language is my passion, and I want to share my love for Language with all of my students by helping them learn English.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
***Please be aware that I am not teaching children under the age of 12 at the moment. Students aged 13+ may sign up for a lesson. I will update when this policy changes. Thank you for your cooperation! :)
I have experience teaching all ages of students. I have taught kindergarten, elementary/middle school, university, and all ages of adults. I also know what it's like to be a language student as well! I have studied various foreign languages my entire life. I think these things help me to better connect with each of my students. My teaching style is adapted to fit every student's needs. I have a rigid outline that I use to base my lessons on and change what I need to, depending on the student's needs. I try to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in my classes. Don't be afraid to make mistakes! I help students every step of the way to improve their English abilities. I look forward to working with you very soon~!
**Please be aware that if you are late for 25% or more of the class (without prior notice), we will not be able to do the lesson as intended.
30min lesson: 8 minutes late
45min lesson: 12 minutes late
60min lesson: 15 minutes late
90min lesson: 23 minutes late

My linguistic study was specialized in Semantics & Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, and First/Second Language Acquisition.

Teacher Caleb has rich teaching experience, and able to point out many of my expression/pronunciation errors. He also well prepared for class questions and topic, so student don't need to worry about what to talk about in class.
In terms of conversational English, his teaching is better than any other teacher I've ever had in italki.

My son has had classes with Caleb for a while now. He is a great teacher, well prepared and encouraging the student to practice speaking a lot while making corrections when needed. He takes notes during class and provides them after class for review(my son has little bit of homework as well). I think my son’s speaking skills are improving. Thanks so much Caleb!

📚👨🏫Caleb is a cooperative, attentive, and well-prepared teacher.
Even while I was speaking, he carefully took notes of my language mistakes, and after the conversation, he calmly provided clear and organized feedback.
He also offered a detailed guideline on how future lessons could be structured, and he actively welcomed and incorporated my input, which I really appreciated.
Although our full lessons haven’t officially started yet, I already feel that Caleb is the perfect teacher I’ve been looking for.
With his extensive experience in Korea, I believe he’ll be especially helpful for Korean students when it comes to correcting pronunciation and sentence errors.
Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
