I highly recommend Michiko sensei for your Japanese lessons. Michiko sensei always patiently explains difficult grammar points and vocabulary to me, and provides helpful knowledge beyond the textbooks, which helps me understand more how native speakers use the language on a daily basis. Moreover, she helps me gain more confidence with my speaking by having short conversations with me at the beginning of every lesson. Thanks to Michiko sensei, I made a lot of progress since I started my Japanese learning journey with her.

I would highly recommend Michiko as a teacher if you need a lesson. She is diligent and patient. I am very shy at speaking Japanese and she is encouraging and corrects me when I say something wrong without me feeling embarrassed. Thank you Michiko!

I just recently came back from 4 months of living in Japan and can safely say that Michiko-sensei's classes prepared me well for my time abroad. Her casual style and explanations of textbook japanese versus conversational japanese have helped me feel comfortable speaking in everyday situations, and I still take her class to learn more advanced grammar. Michiko sensei is always very patient to explain difficult concepts to me and to help me review my knowledge. I also enjoy practicing speaking and listening with her at the beginning of every class. Moreover, she sometimes explain to me words or phrases native speakers usually use, other than text-book vocabulary. I highly recommend Michiko sensei's lessons to you.
