I have been doing conversation lessons with May-san once a week for about a month and I am really enjoying it! After studying Japanese independently for 2 years, my understanding and confidence has improved a lot in the short time I have been tutored by May-san. She is friendly, patient, and has a good feel for when to let the conversation flow and when to pause to provide correction and guidance. I am only at the beginning of my Japanese learning journey, so I felt nervous about taking on immersion-style lessons at first but May-san is clearly a skilled and experienced teacher who has tailored our classes together to be appropriately challenging for my current level. まゆみ先生、ありがとうございます！

May先生 is truly an amazing teacher. Every lesson is consistent in quality and May’s ability to explain grammar (in all Japanese) in an easy-to-understand way is unmatchable! I struggled going through 新完全マスターN3 by myself and dropped it. With May先生, I not only have now finished the book, but also understood FAR more than I thought. My goal is the N2 test, so I’m excited to work with May to achieve my goal of N2 in 2024 :)! Thank you May and I can’t wait to see you in my next lesson!

Thanks to May-Sensei, I have successfully finished my Japanese resume and passed the interview. If you are a non-Japanese speaking person but would like to work in Japanese company, I strongly recommed May-Sensei's lessons to you!

Even though my vocab memory is poor, May Sensei was always patient, The lessons were structured and I feel being taught step by step in a useful manner with progress after each lesson. Great teacher
