Hola, mi nombre es Johanna Cuenca, soy de Ecuador y mi idioma nativo es el español. Soy una persona alegre, honesta y responsable. Disfruto conociendo nuevas culturas y a nuevas personas. Me gusta mucho estudiar, oír música, cantar y bailar. También amo la naturaleza. Me he dedicado por 20 años a la enseñanza, así que considero que tengo la capacidad de enseñar a las personas de acuerdo a sus necesidades.

Me considero una persona muy paciente al enseñar. Y siempre trato de que mis alumnos aprendan de manera práctica y dinámica. Para mí es importante asegurarme que mis estudiantes entiendan lo que aprenden y lo puedan usar en su vida diaria. Esto permite afianzar sus conocimientos. También estoy certificada como profesora de español para extranjeros. (ELE)
I consider myself a very patient person when teaching. And I always try to make my students learn in a practical and dynamic way. It is important to me to make sure my students understand what they are learning and can use it in their daily lives. This allows they to strengthen their knowledge. En primer lugar, me gusta hacer una evaluación del estudiante para saber desde donde partir y poder dar una ayuda eficaz. Usaré mucho la conversación para trabajar en la pronunciación, ayudarte con la gramática y el vocabulario. Considero que al aprender un nuevo idioma es muy importante que nos corrijan si decimos algo mal, por eso estaré ahí para ayudarte en este proceso y corregirte pacientemente.

I had been out for the past two months and missed my lessons. Coming back and taking my first lesson with Johanna was joyful. I was relieved to find that my ability to speak Spanish had not disappeared. Whew! I truly missed my lessons with Johanna. Not only is she a great teacher, but she is also a great person who has become part of my life.
