I have substantial experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, and training children, teenagers, and adolescents to better themselves in life skills and academically. I have:
• Taught children & teenagers 6-18 years old from varying backgrounds in a classroom setting. I have built report with their parents and included them in the learning process
• Taught & mentored adults 18-52 years of age both personally and academically
• Experience with cultural differences and cultural sensitivities
• I specialize in conversational English and overall improvement of vocabulary and grammar

My teaching style is focussed on conversational English, which gives me an indication of the grammar and vocabulary needs of the student, after which I teach very limited grammar (just enough for the student's speaking ability to improve), as I believe that for most students, grammar can be very demotivating. Zander is an amazing English teacher! He helped me find new ways to use English I didn't know existed, and it gave me tons of ideas for getting better. He's attentive to my mistakes and creates helpful study plans and topics for our next sessions, which is very interesting for me. I appreciate that he prioritizes my needs and interests, while also being open to casual conversations during our sessions. I highly recommend him!
