My name is Mohsen, and I've been teaching Persian for over 15 years. As a language enthusiast, I love sharing the beauty and sweetness of Persian with others. Besides being a teacher, I'm also a tour guide, which gives me deep insights into Persian culture and history that I love to incorporate into my lessons. I began teaching Persian in 2009 and hold a teaching diploma from Ferdowsi University. I believe that being a good teacher means motivating students and understanding their unique needs. My goal is to help you achieve significant progress in a short period. I'm strict but supportive, ensuring you reach your goals step by step. "My primary teaching method is a speaking-focused course designed to help you communicate confidently with the Persian community. Accent and pronunciation are key aspects I emphasize to ensure you sound natural. Don’t worry if you don’t know the Persian alphabet—we can start speaking without it!
This course covers your basic communication needs using a variety of resources, including books, videos, podcasts, and pictures. We’ll focus on informal, everyday speech, which differs from formal Persian. Along the way, you’ll learn new vocabulary and essential grammar through specific topics. Mohsen is the best! He is a fantastic teacher and just a generally fun and nice guy. He keeps things entertaining and is able to adjust based on your skills and what you hope to achieve. He knows Persian culture inside out.
A year ago the Persian alphabet was totally not something I was planning on learning and lo and behold I just finished all the letters today.
Mohsen is professional, he's on time and always available to answer questions. I look forward to my weekly lesson and can't wait to get started in 2022!

Mohsen continues to be an amazing teacher! He prepares thoughtful lessons, is a pleasure to converse with, and introduces me to great new vocab and cultural knowledge. My mother and her friends have noticed a big improvement in my Farsi over the last few months of lessons with Mohsen. Highly recommend :)
