Hi! My name is Cynthia, and I’m originally from Hamburg, Germany. I speak German, English, and Spanish fluently, and I’ve always had a passion for exploring the world. By the age of 22, I had already lived in five different countries—Spain (Barcelona), England (Lancaster), Poland (Szczecin), and Mexico (Tijuana). I’m currently based in the beautiful city of Cancún, Mexico.
Professionally, I also work as the Supervisor of the office of the to the Honorary Consul of Germany in Cancún.
I’m also the proud author of the children’s book Two Little Astronauts, One Big Adventure, available on Amazon in four languages.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I’m a passionate, open-minded teacher with over 10 years of experience. I speak English and Spanish at a fluent level and learned both from scratch, so I understand the challenges of language learning firsthand. My lessons focus on fluency, confidence, and vocabulary-building through engaging, personalized conversations. I’ve taught students of all ages, mostly adults who want to improve their speaking skills or prepare for exams. I offer structured, dynamic lessons customized to each student’s goals. After our trial class, I create a personalized plan that targets your strengths and areas for improvement. Lessons may include speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary and exam preparation to build practical, real-world language skills. You’ll speak most of the time, with my support and corrections. I provide clear materials, optional homework, and regular feedback to track progress. I really enjoyed learning German with Cynthia and would recommend her 100%. She is patient, attentive to individual needs, and speaks with a pace that is perfect for beginners. I chose her because she could teach German while giving explanations in Spanish, helping me improve in both languages, knowing that she could switch to English, if necessary. Her multilingual fluency made communication easy and effective!
