I have a system that works! Improve the sound of your English with a native Brit! No more trying to fake a British accent. In these classes you will learn the British accent intuitively. I will teach you, using simple methods, how to pronounce words and syllables so that your delivery of English sounds natural and convincing.

This course teaches all of the important and intricate aspects of modern Received Pronunciation and places particular focus on vowel & consonant pronunciation, word & sentence stress, connected speech and intonation; with taught practical methods for training your mouth to make those British sounds!

Students receive an initial assessment followed by training personalised to their accent and have access to hundreds of downloadable audio and visual files to assist learning. Through drilling, repetition, reading and conversation we will work together to help you achieve the accent you want.

British English: Accent & Pronunciation (55 minutes)

In these lessons students develop their vocal style by exploring various pronunciation techniques and styles. Students develop confidence in their singing by exploring and practising skills and techniques that assist in their confidence to sing in English. 

These lessons are specifically for English learners who want to improve their singing in English, as well as wanting to improve their vocal technique and diction. 

Topics include: 

Sentence stress & rhythm 
Tone & pitch 
Vibrato 
Aspirated consonants 
Open vowels 
Bright & warm singing
Vocal warm-up exercises
Vocal ranges 
Breath control 

Before our first lesson I will ask you to prepare a verse and chorus of a song of your choice. I will then give you feedback and discuss what we can do to improve your voice.
