・彼は電話をしに外に出たきり、帰ってきません。

・何年か前に読んだきりで、最近本は全然読んでません。


こんな感じですね。

ーのあとずっと、みたいな感じで使いますね。
ずっとの時間の長さはいろいろあります。話す人が長いと感じていればーきりは使えます。

日本には5年前に行ったきりなので、行きたいです！
