Episode #73 - Diet

Сегодня снова почитаем детскую литературу, а именно - рассказ Леонида Пантелеева “Испанские шапочки” про приключения двух маленьких сестёр, которых зовут Белочка и Тамарочка. Эту серию легко читать тем, кто учит русский язык, благодаря обилию диалогов и простых предложений. Кстати, слова здесь часто употребляются в уменьшительно-ласкательной форме: не платье, а платьице, не шкаф, а шкафчик. 

Слова, которые объясняю в эпизоде: поза́втракать - есть завтрак - to have breakfast; полу́чше - чуть лучше - better, rather; посу́да - всё, что используем для еды: чашки, тарелки, кастрюли и т.д. - dishes, crockery, tableware; убира́ть - to clean up; мыть - очищать от грязи при помощи воды, воды с мылом - to wash, bathe; вытира́ть - убирать влагу - to wipe, mop; шкаф - cupboard; по́лка - shelf; ти́хо - без звука - quietly; блю́дце - маленькая тарелка под чашку или стакан - saucer; раско́кать - уронить и разбить - to unravel; ходи́ть на цы́почках - ходить на кончиках пальцев ног - walking on tiptoe; шёпот - тихая речь, когда говорят без участия голосовых связок - whisper; препира́ться - спорить по пустякам - to spar, altercate; неча́янно - случайно - accidentally, unintentionally; наступи́ть - придавить ногой - to step on, tread on; смо́рщиться - to wrinkle, wince, pucker; ве́жливый - соблюдает правила приличия, учтивый - polite, gentle; воспи́танный - умеет хорошо себя вести - civilized, well-mannered; гляде́ть - смотреть - to look, see; налюбова́ться - сильно любоваться (рассматривать с удовольствием) - to admire; сад - garden; сто́ить - нужно, следует - to be worth, deserve; ма́ло ли что - всё, что угодно - you never know what, anything; пла́тье - dress; споко́йнее - более спокойно - calmly, quietly, peacefully.
