I'm a native speaker, and had to google to see what a stative verb is. I believe 'worry' is frequently a stative verb, but not always.
He worries alot. This is probably stative
The economy worries investors. Not stative, it even has an object.

Worry" isn't a stative verb that can't be used in the continuous tenses. But we usually use the past participle "worried" as an adjective along with a form of "be."
Okay, but not commonly heard: She's worrying about her son.
More commonly heard: She's worried about her son.
