Is there such a thing as absolute loyalty?

What comes to your mind when you hear the word loyalty? There are two words that comes to my mind that is faithfulness and devotion. In a world where change is constant, where honesty is temporary, I was wondering whether there is such a thing as absolute loyalty. But what is absolute loyalty? Absolute loyalty is giving your 100 percent commitment to someone or something unconditionally. Now, to relate this in real scenarios, it simply means that no matter what happens, you will give your 100 percent devotion to someone or something. Now, I have met people who spent their entire life looking for absolute loyalty and end up in total failure, whether it is a relationship or a company to work for. Now, on the optimistic side of things, I have seen people who have found absolute loyalty in relationships. Staying married for decades without looking at anyone else or being loyal to one company is not easy to do because sometimes it is human nature to always look for something better.

People are irrational, so yes. I've known people whose sons have done horrific things. And they still love them and are loyal to them. And I'm happy they could love someone that much. And I'm sad they could love someone that much.
