Pisang Epe (Epe Banana). Pisang Epe (Epe Banana) is an unique food from the city of Anging Mammiri, Makassar. If we want taste Pisang Epe, we can visit Losari Beach to buy it. In Losari beach, Pisang Epe is “always” available. There are so many Pisang Epe sellers in Losari Beach. We couldn’t say that we have visited Losari Beach if we never taste Pisang Epe :D By the way, Pisang (Indonesian) means Banana, and Epe (Makassarese) means flap. Why do I say that Pisang Epe is an unique food? That’s because Pisang Epe is made from banana who has flapped and grilled, and after that it doused with brown sugar sauce. But now, there are some sellers who affixed Chocolate or Durian into the sauce, and then they use cheese or black chocolate as topping. Yummy :D Pisang Epe is not only delicious and unique, but also it is not too expensive. Its price is only less than a dollar. Just with less than a dollar, we can taste three Pisang Epe hehhe ;) We can eat Pisang Epe while enjoying the beautiful view of Losari Beach. When I visited Losari Beach with my family, Pisang Epe with chocolate sauce is my favourite food and i usually drink Sarabba after i ate Pisang Epe. By the way Sarabba is a spicy drink from my city, Makassar. It made from a heavy dose of ginger, peppercorn, water, palm sugar and coconut milk. But everytime i drink Sarabba, i never drink it complete(?) because it is so spicy for me :( Hehhe~
