少々お待ちください VS ちょっと待ってください What is the difference between 少々お待ちください and ちょっと待ってください ??

少々お待ちください is more formal than ちょっと待ってください。 You can use 少々お待ちください, if you were in the service industry. ちょっと待ってください is more casual but, we use the phrase when we talk to older people than us, or the people who is not close so much. *I hope it helps you. My English is not good,sorry.
