The Tim じぁん!!!
It’s sunny today. I learned a myth, Demeter and Persephone. My homework is to summarize it. It might be a bit long. Dementer is the goddess of harvest. She has a beloved daughter named Persephone, who is always by her side. However, one day Persephone wanders off and is kidnapped by Hades, the god of the dead. Hades is captivated by Persephone's beauty and takes her to the underworld in his chariot. Coincidentally, some pigs owned by a shepherd boy also have tumbled into the chasm, and the boy witnesses the abduction. Demeter eventually realizes that her daughter is missing and becomes consumed by grief. As a result, the Earth begins to suffer, with the ground turning cold and barren, and no plants growing. Demeter, in her despair, vows not to tend the Earth until her daughter is returned. In the underworld, Hades offers Persephone jewels and makes her the queen of the underworld, but she remains silent and mournful, refusing his gifts. Back on Earth, Demeter finally learns of Persephone's fate from the shepherd boy and confronts Zeus, the mighty god. She pleads with him to intervene, as Zeus holds a great concern for the well-being of the Earth and its people. Zeus sends a message to Hades, commanding him to release Persephone. Knowing he cannot defy Zeus, Hades bids his queen farewell and gives her a pomegranate. Persephone eats a few seeds from the fruit, unaware of the consequences. Hades informs her that by consuming the food of the dead, she must return to the underworld one day. Persephone is overjoyed to reunite with Demeter, and they vow never to be apart again. Zeus takes pity on Demeter and agrees that Persephone will spend part of the year in the underworld and the rest of the year on Earth. Thus, winter arrives when Persephone must leave her mother, and spring arrives when she returns.
