what does "drew the ribbon"mean? does the latin sentence bear the some meaning as the following? Father Huber went directly to Jacqueline Kennedy. He murmured his sympathies—he was breathing hard—and took up a position next to her. Uncovering the President's head completely, he drew the purple-and-white ribbons over his own shoulders and chanted: "Si capax, ego te absolvo a peccatis tuis, in nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen" "If it is possible, I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen."

"Drew" here means pulled. I don't know what the purpose of the ribbons is. The English sentence is equivalent to the Latin sentence.
