Hello When someone is coerced into doing something, it means that someone else influenced or convinced them to do it. However, when someone is forced to do something, it is seen as more direct. The person does not have to be persuaded into completing the action; they are usually the victim of physical power or physical threats.

Not much difference - they both mean much the same. Coerce perhaps has a slight connotation of the pressure being put on someone being a little more indirect, more subtle - but still effective. Force is quite blunt and straightforward - they both result in someone being made to do something against their will.
