Hello again. :-)
2:17 How does the finance function, in your view, drive that growth both at the top line and at the profit end?
2:28 We are in the unique position that we're (I can't understand the word here either) ... allows us to retain 80% of the money that we make. That means that the more profitable we are, the more money we have for growth. And there's a multiplier effect in that, so if we make a billion-dollar or more advance the next profit, we have 80% of that billing to invest. (I'm almost certain this is what he's saying. He seems to have a slight accent of some kind which is throwing me off.)
2:49 But more importantly, we're more profitable therefore we can increase our (I can't understand the word here) ... we could borrow more money.
3:00 A key enabler to faster growth is drive more, uh, better returns
Sorry I failed to pick up some of what he was saying, and English is my native language! I hope this helps.
