There is no need for me to answer this question but I can't help commenting. I love gardening and watering my plants. I don't keep flowers in my home. Usually we put flowers in a vase with water. Sometimes we have to add water to the vase to keep our flowers fresh. Most of the plants in my garden have flowers but I rarely pick them. I love watching my plants grow and flower in my garden. I plant only indigenous plants because I live in a drought stricken area. I collect rain water so that I can water the plants in my garden. :) I hope you all have a great day. The first one has a typo, but could be ok. All of the others are incorrect except the last one. You would usually say "the flowers need watering". The statement is in the continuous present. The flowers need water at the moment and will continue to need watering until they have been watered. So you need to use the gerund. However you could just say that "the flowers need water" as well.
