Hello/Habari! I am Jacinta you can call me Jacy, a native Swahili speaker with a passion of teaching language and culture. I am a very patient person, fun and friendly. My teaching style relies mostly on the specific students interest. As your tutor, I can help you become confident not just in the Swahili language but also with the social skills that go along with successful communication. I love to make my students feel special and value to their lesson and I can teach students of all levels. I will always be available whenever my students have any questions with Swahili terms and will be willing to help at all times. I love to give notes after teaching a topic for my students to have better reference materials for their practice . You will also get to do a test or quiz after topics just to examine yourself. Great first lesson! Jacinta is a very nice person. She was very well prepared for the class but also open for material that I brought to the lesson. Getting to a conversational level in Swahili is still a long road ahead but I feel that Jacinta might be just the right person to show me the way.
