I've taught more than 9000 lessons on italki, and I also have TEFL and CTEYL certificates for teaching English. I´ve spent a lot of time on reading studies, watching presentatiosn by polyglots and scientists, MOOCs (Computer Enhanced Language Learning, for example). Every student is different but with most students, I either do:
conversation-focused classes, where you learn grammar as it comes up and where we focus on pronunciation, translation, new concepts, and revision for about a third of the lesson. Check out this video if you want to know more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUxy13I67lU
Leveled courses (mostly A1-B2) where we work with a book. We focus on the things where working with a teacher is the most important (pronunciation, speaking, your questions, actually understanding the grammar, concepts, translation practice) and you can do the reading practice and the exercises on your own and at your own pace.Öğretim materyallerim

In the last few years, I have learned a lot with Paule. In the lessons, we talked about different kinds of topics like daily life, politics, economy, etc. He encouraged me to share my opinions and assisted me understanding how to say like a mother tongue. In addition, he shared lots of practical language-learning experience during the lessons.

Another good lesson. Paule is very good at tactfully suggesting improvements to what I say and the hour-long lesson just flew by as usual. I also learned a new trick for remembering adjective endings -- I can't believe I didn't know this before!

I've only had three lessons with Paule so far, but I'm already very happy that I chose him as my German teacher. He's a true expert, provides excellent materials, and has a genuine passion for languages. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to learn German!
