Hi, I'm Jérôme !
I grew up in a seaside resort located in the north of France called Wimereux. There, I focused on studying foreign languages such as English, German, and Chinese. I also obtained a Master's degree in French as a Foreign Language. Even though I became a web developer, helping people learning French has always been a vocation.

I teach French through both conversational practice and structured lessons, depending on your needs and preferences. In conversation lessons, we can discuss a wide range of topics (preferably avoiding politics and religion). You are the priority in these sessions, and you are welcome to lead the conversation if you wish.
For formal lessons, I enjoy using texts and exercises from books or online resources, as well as videos. This approach is an effective way to enhance your French skills. Jerome is a very patient and intelligent teacher. During our sessions he primarily used a book (Nouveau taxi 1) to provide structure to our lessons and created exercises to revise when I had topics I struggled with, as well as providing homework assignments from the book. He speaks very good english and has a great accent in French and is therefore able to support your learning not simply in formal french but also in developing your pronunciation. As he has a strong grasp of French he is also able to explain whether or not a subject or way of speaking is used in contemporary french. Overall Jerome is an excellent teacher and I would definitely recommend him if you are interested in learning french for the first time or to continue from where you left off!

Jérome is an excellent teacher. He is very experienced and skilled in teaching French. I had studied French for several years and felt reasonably comfortable writing but was very lacking in confidence in spoken French. Jerome helped me very quickly to overcome my anxiety. He is very patient, encouraging and motivating.

Really enjoyed my lesson with Jérôme! We had a great chat, he was very friendly and corrected me when I made a mistake. We introduced ourselves then talked about my goals and objectives. Will definitely book another lesson!
