What's up? I'm Tommy
With nearly a decade of experience in one-on-one Vietnamese tutoring, I bring both passion and expertise to each lesson. I hold a degree in Teaching and Translation from a respected university in Vietnam and have completed a Tourism and Travel course in Canada, which allows me to connect with people from around the world on a deeper level.
As a native Vietnamese speaker born in Vietnam and now residing in Canada, I specialize in teaching Southern Vietnamese to help learners communicate effectively and confidently. Another great lesson with Tommy, easing into the lesson with a review of material covered last time, patient correction of my forgetfulness and struggling pronunciation, lots of encouragement, flexibility to let me try making some off-topic sentences, and a nice quiz and recap at the end. Looking forward to the next lesson!
