Patrick is knowledgeable about a myriad of topics that we both can resonate around, and is fluent in English, which enable deeper comunication when figuring out linguistic snags. He has a great sense of humor, which we share, and we both get to carry on quite a bit, which makes the absorption of new matierials memorable and delightful. He is quite encouraging about my French, which keeps a student advancing!

Had a great intro lesson with Patrick, he allows you to speak and will correct you as needed in a gentle way. Definitely give him a shot if you’re looking to improve your French!

He's become a friend over time. He makes small corrections to my goofy errors, most of which I recognize once I've said them. I'm at a rather advanced level, so not sure if this is useful to beginners, but would highly recommend him to advanced students.
