I was born and grew up in Florence, the cradle of Renaiassance and of the italian language. I love my country and my beautiful city, but I also like travelling a lot. Since I am now exclusively teaching online, I spend lots of time abroad. I am also passionate about language learning and can speak french, english, russian and my new goal is now to learn swahili. I love to cook and eat good food along with good wine and interesting conversations. I like to stay in the nature, and do yoga practices.I enjoy art,music and good books and I also do some writing myself.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
In high school I studied latin and ancient greek and classical humanistic studies, then studied Education Sciences at the University of Florence. Later I got a specialisation at the University of Siena as a teacher of italian language for foreigners. I have been teaching italian now for almost 10 years, and can say that I am now quite experienced! Before working online I have worked in language schools in Florence and in Moscow, Russia. In 2015 I switched to online teaching, and am now a freelance teacher on Italki and with private students I get through other channels.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
With interactive lessons focused on comunication, engaging activities and high quality learning content I help students develop all language skills (speaking, listening, writing, reading) harmoniously, and encourage and motivate them to start speaking from the very first class. Grammar is important, but just as a powerful tool to enhance communication, and special focus is dedicated to vocabulary building. The format of the lessons and the learning materials vary depending on the chosen course and on the student's level, butincludes pdf, audio files, videos, and a google doc that we will share and use as a interactive whiteboard.Öğretim materyallerim

About a year and a half ago, I began learning Italian from scratch with Federica, and this April, I successfully passed the CILS B1 citizenship exam with top scores! I'm thrilled!
Federica is fantastic. She is very responsive and ensures that each lesson is engaging and customized to areas where I need improvement. I highly recommend her.
My learning pace was very relaxed, with just two lessons a week, even when taking vacations once or twice a year.
