Hi, my name is Carissa and I love learning and teaching new languages. I started teaching English to 4th-grade students from less privileged backgrounds back in 2016, and I instantly fell in love with it. I Just completed my Bsc degree in South Africa, and I am currently working on obtaining my TEFL Certificate. I am also currently learning Portuguese, so rest assured that I know the struggles of learning a new language, and in this class, we will deal with these challenges together. I am patient, organized, and understanding.

Carissa is a brilliant teacher. She is very professional and really helps me to become more confident in daily speaking. She is always well prepared and uses interesting materials. Besides, she is a very nice cheerful person with beautiful smile :) I can recommend her without any doubt!
